We're back and opening again just like the old days, but wait... where are the butlers? We had like 2 male adjacent staff members left, but one of them is tired of being flirted with (the other wasn't getting anything anyways.) We took it upon ourselves to hire some sexy butlers with big personalities while our maids try to stay well behaved in-between smoke breaks.
A Magical History
The Tako Train Cafe started in 2020 as a maid cafe and quickly became a hub for creative themed nights. Senior Citizen's night (for anyone over 25 years old) with senile bingo, Eorzea Dating Show, IQ Test Matchmaking, Birthday Surprises, Cake Decorating, and more are some of our favorite memories with you. We are happy to host art parties these days, but maybe you can catch us for the occasional opening! We would not be the same without you, your bingo cards, cakes, and other such works of art make us who we are. Thank you for everything!

What is (service) and is it worth it?
Our services are mainly surprises. Read their descriptions on the services page. It is up to you if they seem worth it or not. We typically do not have enough energy or patience to type to you a 6 paragraph MLA format essay describing what they are and whether you should partake in them.

I can't say I know what the future will look like.
Running the cafe took a lot of time and energy, especially with all the events we did. I loved being able to be creative and having Tako as an outlet to grow a little as an artist. These days a lot of us just don't have that time anymore. The roleplay scene is also quite different from what it was back then. We were one of the first joke venues along with our good friends at The Establishment, and it was a lot of fun! Unfortunately, we noticed how the scene has reduced and we just weren't getting bigger turnouts, and to rhyme with that I think a lot of us were getting burnout...sWe miss hanging out and connecting with all of you, we've met some of our closest friends from doing this and I absolutely value the memories we've made with eachother.
I wanted to say a personal thank you to everyone who has treated us with kindness and kept in touch/asked if we'd come back. I'm glad we made your nights better during rough times. I can say that I was going through a lot of things and you definitely made my nights better too.
